Obama (of course)
I don’t care if it’s a cliché, this is a historic day. There’s an overwhelming amount of hope resting on this man’s shoulders. And from the sound of his inauguration speech, he won’t disappoint. This is a man who seems to understand (and put great emphasis on) grace, compassion, justice and responsibility. In the words of one member of the crowd in Washington DC, who had waited for hours in the sub-zero temperatures, buzzing with anticipation:
“Dr King said it might take 40 years. It’s been 45 years, I can wait another hour.”
